1. Overview
By engaging Local Urgent Plumbing’s services, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. These terms govern the use of our emergency plumbing services, payment policies, and customer responsibilities. Our goal is to provide efficient, reliable, and transparent plumbing services.

2. Call-Out Fee

  • We offer $0 call-out fee for all service requests.
  • This fee is waived entirely if you proceed with the quoted work during the service call.

3. Deposits and Payment Terms

  • A 20% deposit is required before any work begins to secure your booking and allocate materials.
  • Full payment is due upon completion of work and must be made while our plumber is still onsite.
  • All phone payments are the client’s responsibility and non-refundable.
  • Deposit payments are non-refundable, as they secure the scheduled date and materials necessary for the job. This policy will be clearly communicated to you before the commencement of work.

4. Client Responsibilities and Additional Charges

  • If a high-pressure jetter becomes stuck during the process of clearing a blockage, the client will be responsible for the costs incurred to retrieve the jetter.
  • Roof repairs and leak eliminations are assessed based on the point of elimination. Any reoccurring leaks will incur additional charges for any further work required.
  • During gas line repairs, if leaks are found on appliances, a separate quotation will be provided to address these issues, with additional charges applied for any work required to rectify them.

5. Gas Line Repairs and Appliance Assessments

  • If appliance-related issues are found during gas line repairs or replacements, we will provide a separate quotation for necessary work.
  • Any appliance-related repairs are outside the scope of the original quote and will be subject to additional charges.

6. Liability and Limitations

  • Local Urgent Plumbing will allocate the appropriate resources and schedule based on your deposit.
  • Clients are responsible for any unforeseen issues arising from inaccessible areas or pre-existing conditions at the job site.
  • Our liability is limited to the work performed, and we will not be liable for incidental or consequential damages.

7. Modifications and Amendments

  • We reserve the right to modify or update these Terms and Conditions at any time.
  • Any amendments will be communicated to clients, and continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of these changes.

8. Governing Law

  • These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Victoria, Australia.
  • Any disputes related to these terms will be subject to the jurisdiction of the local courts in Victoria.

9. Acceptance

  • By accepting our quote or engaging in our plumbing services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions. It is recommended that you retain a copy for your records.
